WinGate 5.0 includes a fully functional
POP3/SMTP server that supports antivirus protection,
multiple domains, unlimited email accounts, aliases, spam
blocking and other features necessary for hosting email. WinGate's Email Server can
be used effectively as an external email server, sending and receiving email to the
Internet, or an internal email server - routing email on a LAN, without connecting, or
being exposed to the Internet
The Integrated Email Server allows organizations to host
email internally, instead of relying on an Internet Service Provider (ISP).

with the VisNetic AntiVirus Plug-in, all email traffic is scanned at the email gateway,
