VisNetic MailServer is a multithreaded application, allowing the mail server
to complete several tasks at one time. This dramatically increases the stability and speed
of the mail server under heavy load, ensuring timely communication and furthering
efficiency. A unique High Speed Memory Mode*
places account information in RAM. This gives the mail processor nearly instantaneous
access to the accounts to further increase the speed of the mail server.
For all local accounts on the network, VisNetic MailServer supports instant local delivery. Intra-company
communications happen quickly, and never leave the network, keeping all messages secure
and processing efficiently.
With support for TLS/SSL connections, MailServer can protect email
transmission across the Internet from the originating server to another TLS/SSL enabled
email server. By using these security protocols, messages are safe from hackers or
information thieves.
MailServer also includes AntiSpam and AntiRelay utilities. These components are designed
to protect account holders from receiving unwanted spam, as well as keeping the VisNetic
MailServer from being utilized as a relay point for unauthorized spam. Support for the VisNetic AntiVirus Plug-in keeps users and
the network safe from damaging email born viruses.
Bringing an email server on-site gives management complete
control over all email services, eliminating the burden of relying on an ISP to
maintain accounts. It also eliminates the potential costs often associated with ISP
maintenance.
With Multiple User Types, employees at different levels in the company can be
given varying access rights. Managers can maintain their own teams, rather than involving

Domain Support* in VisNetic MailServer lets a company manage several email domains,

partners, clients, and employees without tremendous administrative burden. VisNetic
MailServer's built in List Server will
facilitate an active mailing list for users to subscribe to. Mailing Lists make widespread contact simple, and ODBC database support* makes creating lists easy.
Included with VisNetic MailServer is VisNetic WebMail, a web-based email client system
that allows MailServer account holders to access their email from any standard web browser
on an Internet enabled computer. WebMail supports
secure (SSL) connections.
Built into VisNetic WebMail is support for multiple languages including English, Spanish,
French, German, and more, that users can set to their own preference (as self-configurable
users). Further, a built-in WAP server
provides account access via a cell phone or PDA.
