Requirements differ
between VisNetic AntiVirus for Workstation and VisNetic AntiVirus for Server. These are
the minimum recommended requirements. With a more robust system, performance will be
enhanced.
VisNetic AntiVirus for Workstation
- Pentium Processor
- Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT 4 Workstation (SP3), Windows
2000 Professional, Windows XP Home Edition, or XP Professional.
- When running on Windows NT 4 Workstation or Windows 2000
Operating system, it is advisable for a user to log in using the account of the local
computer administrator.
- When running on Windows 95/98/NT 4 Workstation, Internet
Explorer (IE) version 4.01 (SP2) or later must be installed.
- Important Note
for Windows XP Home or XP Professional using the Fast
User Switching option: Some features of the VisNetic AntiVirus program will become
unavailable. Users cannot change setting and cannot expect the program to interactively
respond to events.
- At least 32 MB RAM
- At least 25 MB space available on the hard drive
- Monitor resolution should be set to 800X600, with the small
font selected, and the system date should be correct.
VisNetic AntiVirus for Server
- Pentium Processor
- Windows NT Server (SP6), Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server
It is recommended the the user log in with the account of the local administrator
- Internet Explorer (IE) version 4.01 (SP2) or higher
- At least 32 MB RAM
- At least 25 MB available on the hard drive
- Monitor resolution should be set to 800X600, with the small
font selected, and the system date should be correct.
Administration Kit
- A local network supporting TCP/IP
- Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT(4 or higher)/2000/XP operating
system.
- 16 MB RAM
- 10 MB available on the hard drive
